Oppo’s flagship smartphone Duo, Find X2 and the Find X2 series officially flex today, Friday (6/3/2020). The launch event took place in the Auditori Forim CCIB, Barcelona, Spain which was broadcast live through YouTube.
The Oppo Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro bring a number of enhancements. As in the display sector. Both are now supported 120Hz refresh rate.
These features are the current flagship mobile trend. Oppo also embed a special engine named 01 Ultra Vision to enhance the screen’s visual experience.
That technology allows upgrading the frame rate to 60fps up to 120fps. In addition, 01 Ultra Vision can also convert videos from SDR to HDR. The screen also has a resolution of 3K QHD Plus. Besides the screen, the Find X2 series also boasts a camera sector.
The Oppo Find X2 carries three rear cameras, consisting of a 13 MP telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom, a 48 MP wide angle camera, and a 12 MP ultrawide camera.
While the Find X2 Pro has a camera consisting of a 13-megapixel periscope camera with 10x hybrid zoom and a digital zoom of 60x. The 48-megapixel ultra wide angle camera powered by Sony’s new sensor, the IMX689 and the 48 megapixel wide angle camera.
“We are working with Sony to deliver an exclusive IMX689 sensor for Oppo to take pictures at night,” explains Michael Tran, Head of Strategy & Oppo Product Marketing at the launch event.
In the Find X2 Pro variant, video recording is powered by an Ultra steady pro mode that minimizes blurry images from hand shake.
Oppo also introduces a new night shooting mode, which is ultra Dark Mode 3.0 and Ultra macro mode for photographing or recording objects with details. For the front camera resolution of Find X2 Pro, the same is the Find X2, which is 32 megapixels.
Both of them are also powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, but their memory is different. Oppo Find X2 is equipped with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, while the Pro version has a larger internal storage capacity of 512 GB.
Android 10 becomes the second operating system of this device, which is coated with the ColorOS 7.1 interface. For the power sector, Oppo Find X2 has a battery capacity of 4,200 mAh, while the Find X2 Pro has a capacity of 4,260 mAh.
Both are powered by SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging with a current output of 65 watts. Oppo claims it takes about 38 minutes to complete charging time.
